Rich turquoise and teal batik cotton fabric was cut into strips and wrapped around cording to create this round coiled fabric bowl. Slightly larger at the top than the bottom, the bowl measures 7” at top, 5” at the bottom, and 3.75” high. This bowl was finished off by weaving a variegated yarn of blues, greens, turquoise, gold and sequins along the top rim. Plus, a piece of metalwork with turquoise glass beads hangs down the front.
